Deleting your account
Delete your account yourself; it takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
- Open your profile (or Settings on a business account) and choose Delete account.
- Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
What happens
Deletion is immediate. You are signed out on every device, your listings are taken down and your personal details are removed.
Messages you sent stay in the other person’s conversation so their history still makes sense, but your name is replaced with “Deleted user”.
Payment and deal records are kept for legal reasons, with your personal details removed.
When you cannot delete yet
Deletion waits until nothing is left half-finished. You cannot delete your account while:
- you own a dealership on Lottraq (transfer or close it first);
- an escrow payment or a dispute is still open;
- one of your listings is under offer;
- you are the highest bidder on an auction that is still running.
